The Parliamentary
Budget Office has today confirmed that the Turnbull Liberal Government
is committed to its attacks on renewable energy.
Savings have already been booked from the
abolition of the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA), despite the
Turnbull Liberal Government’s praise for its work.
The change in Liberal leader to Malcolm Turnbull hasn’t changed the Liberals’ anti-renewables agenda.
Both ARENA and the Clean Energy Finance
Corporation remain on the chopping block despite the pivotal roles these
agencies have played in the development of renewable energy in
Australia.
