TELL TONY ABBOTT: NO CUTS, NO DELAYS TO THE NDIS

Today Federal Labor is launching a national campaign with a simple message for Tony Abbott: No Cuts, No Delays to the NDIS.
The upcoming Budget will be about choices. So far we’ve seen Tony Abbott prioritising knights and dames ahead of jobs, health and education.
Any cuts or delays to the National Disability Insurance Scheme would be the most damning example yet of Tony Abbott's twisted priorities.
For generations, politicians have promised Australians with disability a better deal.
For generations, politicians have let them down.
Now, for the first time ever, people with disability are beginning to get the better deal they always deserved.
Tony Abbott must ask himself whether he is prepared to look people with disability in the eye and tell them they have to continue to wait.
Before the election, Tony Abbott promised he would stick to the NDIS introduced by the former Labor Government.
Since the election, Joe Hockey has done nothing but talk down the NDIS, in a deliberate and dishonest grab for cash ahead of this year’s Budget.
The Budget is an opportunity for Tony Abbott to stick to his word on the NDIS.
You can show your support for the NDIS by signing Labor’s petition: http://www.alp.org.au/ndis

Tell Tony Abbott: People with disability have waited long enough. Don’t make them wait even longer.
